The Youth Affairs Committee (YAC), a youth wing of the The Jamaican Canadian Association (JCA), a non-profit social services organization, in partnership with Metro Toronto Public Housing (MTPH), is currently recruiting mentors for our Mentorship Program, which is geared towards youth between the ages of 10-15.

The program is a 5-month pilot project intended to implant into the life of a young person a positive role-model who will provide them with support and guidance. This program is relatively unique in that it allows for intervention with youth at an earlier stage in life; hopefully having a more significant impact on their future and life’s choices.

“ARE YOU A MOTIVATIONAL, CREATIVE, POSITIVE AND INSPIRATIONAL INDIVIDUAL,

WISHING TO AFFECT CHANGE IN THE LIFE OF A YOUTH? IF THIS IS YOU, LET US KNOW."

Being a mentor gives you the opportunity to inspire and shape the life of a youth and is an excellent way to positively impact the community, allowing you to inspire and shape the life of a youth.

If you are interested in participating in the program or you would simply like more information, please contact us at 416-746-5772 ext 242. We look forward to hearing from you!
