Local News: Books to read. From BH Workshop Feb 10, 2006
Our workshop, 'Understanding Black Relationships through our History' was a great success. Thanks to our very own 'Dr. Drew', as well as all in attendence, who enlightened and educated. A real paradigm shift occurred.
As promised at the workshop, here is a list of books to read that will help us to find sustainable solutions to healthy relationships and a healthy community.
The goal is for us to read some of the following books and continue to approach solutions with greater enlightenment....
The Making Of A Slave speech by Willie Lynch

Destruction of Black Civilization: Great Issues of a Race from 4500 B.C to 2000 A.D. - Chancellor Williams

Sacred Woman: A Guide to Healing the Feminine Body, Mind, and Spirit - Queen Afua
